POSTERS COMMISSIONS

i really love to create posters for the events my friends perform at, as well as am just happy when approached to do posters for various events! here are some of my favorites:

MORE DETAILS:

2022- Poster for fundraiser event “CAMP!” hosted by Wesleyan’s Student of Color Fashion Show Board. A cheeky reference to Karlie Kloss’s “Looking Camp Right in the eye” tweet that makes me laugh.

2022 - Poster for music event, “UPRAGE,” Wesleyan student group, Uproar’s first event! Uproar was started by some of my friends and is a group dedicated to the visibility of non-cis men in musical spaces.

2022- Poster for several events hosted by Wesleyan dinner/performance club, Wits End! Never ended up getting used unfortunately, but I liked the colors I used.

2022- Poster for music event “Shedamorphosis,” hosted by Wesleyan student group The Shed. With the name being Shedamorphosis, I thought of one of my favorite author Frantz Kafka’s Metamorphosis, hence the cockroach.

2022- First poster variation for the Eclectic Society’s annual Halloween event. One of the biggest Halloween events on Wesleyan’s campus, I had a lot of fun imagining visuals that would match the silly title of the event “Boo!!! Don’t be a pussy.”

2022- Second poster variation for the same Eclectic Halloween event. What is more scary than the horrors of being an oversexualized body? BOO!

2023 - Poster for music event “Magical Quest” hosted by Wesleyan’s Alpha Delta Phi society. The inspiration behind this one was a Magic the Gathering card, as I used to be an avid player. Also anime magical girls, who are one of my main inspirations for art.

2023 - Poster for music event “Evil Inc.” hosted by Wesleyan student group The Shed. Inspired by old comic art and horror manga artist Junji Ito.

2023 - Poster for senior film these “Just Say Hi” by Georgina Goldbart. She was my roommate this semester and I also had the chance to do costumes for her thesis. (One of the 7 year old actors drew fanart of this poster that brought tears to my eyes ;) good memory.)

2023 - Poster for a class assignment where I was assigned the words “Auspicious” and “Casket,” and was tasked to make a poster in the American kitsch style.

2023 - Poster for “Slore Ragnarock” hosted by some of my friends at Wesleyan. My freshman year roommate and dear friend Jane is apart of the hardcore band Slore and wanted a “viking themed” music event.

2022 - Third poster variation for Eclectic Halloween. I was inspired by a lot of the body horror movies I had watched for the month of October…
